This basic two span through girder bridge crosses Opossum Creek with stone and concrete substructures.
Originally built in 1896, the bridge was rehabilitated in 2011 to increase the capacity of the bridge. The work on the bridge included replacing critical components of the superstructure with high strength bolts and rebuilding the deck of the bridge.
Currently, the bridge remains in good condition.

The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
